The slide show leaves much to be desired. Personally I think thumbnails are better in that you don't need to endure endless photos of stuff that you have no interest in just to see that which you have interest in. And what about a simple caption word or two descriptor to give you a hint at the pictures. It gets really tedious after a while.
ReplyDeleteHi, Cliff. Thanks for the feedback! When we did the thumbnails people were getting confused and letting them feed into the wrong pictures. We're working on other solutions to that. In the meantime, all you have to do to see the thumbnails instead is click the link inside the slideshow instead of the "play" button. In this case, click the link that says "June 16 2012 East Northport." This way, less computer savvy people won't get confused and you can still look the way you would prefer.
DeleteAlso, if you play the slideshow, you see thumbnails at the bottom (similar to your own website's slideshow) and you can always skip ahead to one of those, or even press the "pause" button and then skip ahead to a photo you'd prefer to see. Hope that helps!
